The Education Administration is one of Mjölby Municipality's six administrations, responsible for preschool, primary school, upper secondary school, adapted primary and upper secondary school, and adult education. With approximately 1,000 employees, we offer education that promotes all children and students in lifelong learning, working according to the direction "high knowledge results in a school where everyone can and wants to be." We place great emphasis on working close to operations through regular dialogue and support for school leaders and teachers based on the chain of command.

Bjälbotullskolan is one of two F-6 schools (grades 1-6) in Skänninge. Approximately 200 students attend the school, and about 100 students participate in the after-school program. There are 26 staff members working at the school. Within the Skänninge school area, there are three F-6 schools that collaborate with the 7-9 school for the benefit of our students.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in the after-school program, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work within the after-school setting, together with your colleagues. You are well-versed in the after-school curriculum and accustomed to working with current goals and quality standards within the after-school operations. You are a good role model, follow the norms and values specified in the curriculum, and contribute to carrying out and fulfilling the after-school mission with high quality. Your task is to promote each student's learning and development, as well as to create the best conditions for students, guardians, and colleagues to thrive and feel safe in the school and after-school activities.

At Bjälbotullskolan, you will work as a teacher in the after-school program and, for part of your working hours, teach music or another subject. You take significant responsibility for social education during student recesses.

The position also includes collaboration with guardians and the school's other staff. You and your colleagues work together to create a safe and learning environment for the students throughout the entire school day.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is a certified teacher for the after-school program with qualifications in music or another subject
• has relevant experience in similar work
• has a view of students that aligns with the school's value base

As a person, you have the ability to create and maintain good relationships, both with colleagues, students, and guardians. You need to be secure and clear in your leadership. You encourage learning and spread knowledge that is useful for the school. You have the ability to plan and organize your work.
